The opportunity  /  ATIG Academy

ATIG Academy

Every new agent runs through it. The path from your first day in the business to a full production ramp, with nothing left to guesswork.

Most agents fail for a boring reason: nobody ever showed them the whole job. They get a license, a contract, and a pat on the back. The Academy exists so that doesn't happen to you.

It's built on what Pete has spent his career writing down — the Sling It® material agents call the ATIG Bible — two playbook volumes and the Sales System video training. They lay out what to do on day one, what to do in month three, and what separates the agents who build a business from the agents who wash out and go back to a nine-to-five.

Ten days. Three tracks. Two gates.

The Academy is an onboarding system, not a course. It runs ten days and it's built backwards from one deadline: your first close. Every day unlocks only when the day before it is actually done.

How the ten days run

Days 1–3 — Foundation. Universal, every agent. Who you are on a call before you're anything else, the skeleton of the conversation, discovery, presenting, closing, and what to do when someone pushes back.

  • Day 1 — Why we do this. Identity before technique
  • Day 2 — How the conversation works. The skeleton of every call
  • Day 3 — Present, close, and handle resistance. The full sales conversation

Days 4–5 — Your track. At the end of Day 3 you pick a lane based on your budget and what you want to sell. Days 4 and 5 are built for that lane, and Day 5 ends at a gate.

  • Warm market — no lead budget yet. Relationships, content and DMs
  • Meta digital — ATIG-managed Meta leads landing in your pipeline
  • Annuities and life — two pipelines in parallel, for agents chasing larger cases

Days 6–10 — Integration. The tracks rejoin. Product knowledge across the lines you've been selling, advanced frameworks, referrals and retention, then assessment.

  • Day 6 — Product knowledge. What you've been selling for five days
  • Day 7 — Level 2. The prospects a standard discovery doesn't close
  • Day 8 — Lock-in. Protect every close, multiply every case
  • Day 9 — Simulation prep. Everything needed to walk in ready
  • Day 10 — Simulation, and graduation. Prove it under pressure

The two gates are the point

Most training programs gate on a quiz. Ours gate on production. There are quizzes, but passing one doesn't move you forward — doing the work does.

Gate 1, end of Day 5. A real production event for your track, posted in Slack and tagged to Pete. Day 6 doesn't unlock without it. If you get there without a close, the Day 5 packet includes a diagnostic to work out why.

Gate 2, Day 10. A full recorded sales simulation, scored inside 24 hours. Pass, conditional pass, or resubmit.

Graduation fires on Gate 2. Digital leads aren't locked behind it — you turn lead flow on whenever you're ready to fund it. But walking into that spend having already run a full sales conversation under pressure is a different position than walking in cold, and the budget goes further for it.

What Pete asks of you

Hunger. Full-time commitment. Teachable, coachable, accountable. Do, ask, implement, do again.
